EST KITS
When you see this abbreviation in the description of a kit you can be assured that the best possible materials available are used for every gasket in that kit, for that application. EST is short for, EXTREME SEALING TECHNOLOGY. These kits contain such materials as MLS head gaskets, Steel Viton coated base gaskets, blue Viton valve stem seals, AFM material, race-style exhaust gaskets that won’t fray into the port, and the latest upgrades in new gasket technology and fit… such as the one-piece rocker box base gasket for Evolution® models, made from our single layer 0.020" embossed Viton coated steel. These are truly for the builder who demands the best, and appreciates the long-term for his or her dollar. EST kits are available in complete motor kits and top end kits.
AFM
Aluminum Foam Material – This material works exceptionally well on side cover applications such as primary gaskets, cam covers. etc. It has an aluminum core with chemically blown Nitrile rubber on both sides that will not rip, tear, or wick. It creates a seal that will not seep, leak, or mist oil.
